Breakfast at the hotel. Then drive to Issyk-Kul Lake. The lake, which is located at an altitude of 1609 meters above sea level, is considered the second largest lake in the world among high mountain lakes. Breakfast and departure to the city of Karakol On the way, excursion to the so-called "Stone Garden" or petroglyphs of Cholpon-Ata, an open-air temple left by the Scythians and Huns, dating from the 9th and 8th centuries BC and the 3rd and 4th centuries AD. Departure to the Grigorievskoe gorge (Chon Ak-Suu 1600 m above sea level). Walk along the river, up to 2 km, +150 -150 m. Picturesque places, space and mountains. Karakol city-tour: Dungan mosque, a unique Chinese-style building without a single nail, but used for worship by Muslims, an old Russian Orthodox church - "Holy Trinity Cathedral" made of wood. Departure to the Altyn-Arashan gorge, which in Kyrgyz means "golden spring". We will reach the gorge in Soviet UAZ vehicles. This gorge is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kyrgyzstan due to its unique nature, hot springs located right in the gorge, vast spruce forests and stunning views. Hot springs are located at a record height of 2600 meters and have a healing effect due to the content of radon and hydrogen sulfide in the water. Dinner and overnight stay in a yurt camp or guest house in the Altyn-Arashan gorge.

Breakfast. Breakfast and then we leave the Altyn-Arashan gorge. We return to the city of Karakol. Then transfer to the Jeti Oguz gorge (30 km to the side). Breakfast in the hotel. Then departure to the Barskoon Gorge, where Yuri Gagarin was on his visit. We can climb to the waterfall "Bowl of Manas" (250 meters to the waterfall), and we can also climb to the waterfall "leopard's tears" (2.3 km and 800 meters climb) Then we will make a stop at the Skazka canyon for short walks. Can be up to 5km, +150m-150m. The canyon consists of multi-colored petrified clay, which offers a very interesting view of the lake in the background. We will arrive to the village Kochkor. Breakfast Departure from Kochkor village towards Kel-Suu Lake. On the way, stop in Naryn city to visit a small blue mosque, we will also visit the local ethnographic museum of Naryn city. Then departure towards Kel-Suu Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. On the way, we will pass through many beautiful places - At-Bashi Valley and Ak-Sai Valley. Accommodation and dinner in a yurt camp or tent camp. Yurt or tent camps are located at an altitude of 3200 meters above sea level. Note: To get to Kel-Suu Lake, we will need a border pass, since the lake is located near the border with China.

Breakfast. And then our hike begins, there are different options to get to the lake (3520 m.a.s.l.) - by UAZ, on horseback or on foot. About 6 kilometers on foot, one way will take about 2-2.5 hours, the descent from the lake is about 1.5 hours. We will get to the lake and there you can just walk along the shore of the lake or take a boat ride on the lake. The lake was formed as a result of an earthquake, as a result of which the rocks were destroyed and blocked the river bed. Then we return to the car and begin the descent to the city of Naryn, this descent will take us about 2.5 hours. Return to the city of Naryn in the evening. Accommodation at the hotel. The path to Son-Kul Lake is through the Moldo-Ashuu Pass. One of the most picturesque passes in the country. Around Son-Kul Lake live many nomads who graze cattle and live in yurts. Arrival at Son-Kul Lake, accommodation. Walks and light hikes along the lake shore with a visit to Kyrgyz yurts. Here the Kyrgyz still lead a nomadic lifestyle. Dinner and a quiet night's rest under the starry sky at an altitude of 3016 m above sea level. Optional: horseback riding around the lake (for an additional fee).

Breakfast at the yurt camp. Departure to Bishkek, on the way we cross the pass "33 parrots" (3133 m above sea level) or Kalmak Ashuu (3436 m above sea level), depending on the weather conditions. We will stop to go to the waterfall and take some photos of the panoramic views. Arrival in Bishkek. You can visit the Osh market (closed on Mondays), where you can buy souvenirs or just see the daily life of locals. Accommodation at the hotel. ATTENTION: in bad weather it will be impossible to cross the pass "33 parrots", so you need to return through the pass Kalmak Ashuu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

Can I wash my clothes during the tour?

All hotels and guest houses have a washing machine for washing clothes. But the exception is yurt camps, where there will be no possibility to wash clothes.

Will I have access to the internet?

There is Wi-Fi in guest houses and hotels, but in mountainous areas there is no mobile Internet or Wi-Fi.

Do I need any vaccinations?

No vaccination requirements or PCR testing are required.
